Companies have started to leverage on customers’ data to build Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Platform. Predictive results are based on data analysis, and AI/ML is based on the foundation of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Even though AI/ML has made a huge progress, it is still in its early stages of progression.

AI/ML implementation within a modem/router provided by the Internet Service Providers (ISP) can be a game changer, and can change the dynamics of Internet and how things work on the web. Internet modems & routers have much larger access and visibility to our internet traffic, data pattern, timing, and content type. Voice command functionalities can also be integrated within the Modems, Routers or Wi-Fi extenders.

Why would we need to type something on web or use devices like Amazon Echo, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings etc., if a voiced enabled modem/router can act as a primary hub that connects with all smart devices, search content, present content on the connected display devices (like TV), and/or process a commercial transaction through the website of our choice?

Modems/routers with built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) or Amazon Alexa powered Wireless Router would change the way the traditional websites, applications or platforms operates or are designed.
